Ed Vitulli – Founder / President
With Waterwise since 1983
Ed Vitulli founded the company in 1983, originally operating as Vitulli Landscaping. Over the years, he designed and built landscapes throughout the Houston area while developing a deep understanding of irrigation systems and water management.
As irrigation systems became an increasingly critical part of maintaining healthy landscapes, Ed shifted the company’s focus toward sprinkler and drainage systems. That decision led to the formation of Waterwise Irrigation in 2001 and established the specialization that continues to define the company today.
With more than four decades of experience in landscape development, irrigation design, drainage corrections, and water management, Ed’s leadership laid the foundation for Waterwise’s reputation for technical expertise and reliable service.

John Vitulli – General Manager
With Waterwise since 2005
John Vitulli oversees the day-to-day operations of Waterwise, including service operations, technician management, system diagnostics, and long-term business development.
Working closely with both residential and commercial clients, John focuses on improving irrigation system performance through better diagnostics, system upgrades, and modern controller technology. He also leads operational improvements within the company to ensure technicians have the training, tools, and processes needed to deliver consistent results in the field.
His goal is to continue building Waterwise as one of the most trusted sprinkler and drainage specialists in the Greater Houston region.

Laurie plays an important role in maintaining the operational and financial stability that supports Waterwise’s long-standing reputation in the Houston area.

Beth Williamson – Office Manager
With Waterwise since 2011
Beth Williamson manages the daily administrative operations of Waterwise and serves as the central point of coordination between customers and field technicians.
From scheduling service visits and coordinating technician dispatch to assisting customers with service requests and follow-ups, Beth helps keep the company’s operations running smoothly. Her role ensures that customers receive timely communication and that technicians have the information they need before arriving on site.
Her organization and attention to detail help maintain the efficient service experience Waterwise customers rely on.

Barry Preston – Lead Technician
With Waterwise since 2013
Barry Preston serves as the Lead Technician at Waterwise and brings extensive hands-on experience in sprinkler system diagnostics, repair, and field troubleshooting.
Working directly with irrigation systems across residential and commercial properties, Barry is responsible for diagnosing complex system issues, guiding repair strategies, and helping ensure field work meets the company’s standards for quality and reliability.
His experience in the field provides valuable technical insight that supports both technicians and management as they work to maintain and improve irrigation system performance for Waterwise clients.
